Larval mask

Larval masks have become an integral part of the actor training sequence developed at The International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France. (Becker, 2022)

This specific piece reflects the mask and counter mask technique commonly used in larval masks. As one can see in this specificic case, depending on the side, inclination and head movement,  the mask can reflect several different emotions such as doubt, anger, surprise, sadness, amongst others.
