Sebastian Zavalza is a current graduate student  pursuing an MFA in Scenic Design at Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.

Sebastian was born in Mexico City, a global cultural destination which fostered his interest and skill development within different areas in the design world. Having been raised and obtaining his bachelor's degree in Product Design in his home country (Mexico), as well as having gotten a specialization in Interior Design in Florence, Italy and now pursuing an MFA in Scenic Design the United States, Sebastian has developed a comprehensive international worldview that greatly influences his design and communications skills resulting in engaging collaborative work. 

Recent productions include MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL for Obertura Compañía (Mexico), Mexican Folkloric Ballet for ITESM Queretaro  (Mexico), as well as collaborations for the shows AS YOU LIKE IT , THIS OLD HAUNT, YOU ON THE MOORS NOW and GODSPELL at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA). As for Interior Design, he has worked for Grupo Ramón García (Spain & Mexico) developing brand identity through product display for luxury brands, and for Amsterdam Furniture (Mexico) which focuses on luxury materials and furniture for high-end living spaces.
